Mo, What I appreciate most about your series is that every city becomes more than geography. You begin with history, move through economics and policy, and then reveal a principle that can be applied far beyond the place itself.

The idea that deliberate restraint can become a strategic advantage is one I hadn't considered in quite this way. "The history of refusal is itself an asset" is a thought that lingered long after I finished reading.

Another fascinating chapter in a remarkable series.
